The Kehilat Gesher Choir is a group of amateur singers led by choirmaster Thomas Macfarlane. He has led the choir since 2009.
Performing a diverse repertoire of Jewish and Israeli music, the choir sings pieces from many eras—from the 13th century to the present day—and many styles—from traditional to spiritual to contemporary.
In addition to singing one Shabbat per month at KG, the choir also performs in concerts and choir festivals in France, as well as our community’s High Holy Days services. Future plans include concerts for the general public and possible participation in national and international choir festivals.
The choir is always looking for new members. Prior training or experience are appreciated but not necessary! If you are interested in joining the choir, please email Thomas at [email protected].
