Shabbat services are held at 7pm on Friday nights and 10:30am on Saturday mornings year round. All services are held in French, English and Hebrew with a trilingual siddur, Avenue de Champerret, Paris 17th arrondissement. KG also has its own live STREAMING for our members.
In our synagogue, everyone has the same rights and duties. Which is why every adult Jew, man or woman, can wear a tallit, put on tefillin, be called to the Torah and lead prayers at our services. There is no barrier separating men and women in the sanctuary. Our trilingual siddur takes into account the evolution of our tradition and our place in the modern world.
Whether you are a long-term Parisian or just passing through, please join us!
Haverim, chers KG-nicks,
«Shabbat shall be a day of delight” (Isa. 58:13). As the week ends with the sun setting on Friday night, we have the opportunity to rise above the petty frustrations and annoyances of our weekly routine. Instead we get the chance to concentrate on more important values, such as communal life and our families. In order to help you create the spirit of Shabbat, click on the links below for a brief guide and a few mp3s for starting off your Shabbat meals on Friday nights, after coming home from the synagogue… 🙂
Warmly,
Rebbe Tom & Kehilat Gesher
